As the day-to-day operations leader for the accounting department, this position is responsible for implementing new accounting standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with existing accounting and agency regulations, instituting internal controls to minimize risks as well as the preparation of financial reports for annual audits, tax compliance, management, regulatory agencies, and the Board of Directors.
